"We are traveling cross country on a motorcycle, staying in hotels along the way, so we look for affordable sleeping conditions...hate spending big bucks to literally sleep for 8 hours.
For a 2-star hotel I'm giving the KC Motel 4.5 stars.
Price is on point, the rooms are clean, the bed was super comfy and a bonus point for the soft, but not-too-soft pillows. The shower pressure was excellent!! The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a great night's sleep.
My only ding to the experience was the breakfast... it's understandable, being a small hotel, not wanting to have an over abundance of breakfast inventory, but we have stayed in similar hotels where they had nicer offerings. Instant oatmeal in the little envelopes and premade, microwavable breakfast sandwiches go a long way.
If you are looking for a safe, comfortable, friendly place to lay your head, don't let the lackluster breakfast deter you. There's a BK right next door!"
"Older motel but extremely clean and has been updated. Beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Plenty of lighting and electric outlets. Very large dish TV with good reception, larger size refrigerator that kept my fruit fresh all week plus a microwave. Love the amenities here. There are benches outside and I was able to sit outside and enjoy the rainstorm. Has good choices for continental breakfast with a table to sit at whether inside or outside the "comfort food" room. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it for those looking for a comfortable stay. Personally I enjoyed it better than some of the Best Western and 5 star motels I've stayed at.
The location is close to hwy 260 and 60 and plenty of restaurants nearby. Safeway grocery store is close if you need anything. Only reason I didn't give the location a 5 star is because it's hard to make a left turn out of the parking lot because of heavy traffic near major intersection."

"Had a late night stop in Show Low. Stayed at the KC Motel. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Comfy bed. Nice shower. TV with plenty of options. Very simple room but everything needed was there. I enjoyed my stay. Would stay there again. They also have a simple breakfast-coffee, juice, cereal, pastries and toast. Room has microwave and small refrigerator as well. Also, this is a great location. A lot of stores/ restaurants near that area. You can tell the owners care about what they do. Was happy with my stay at KC motel."
"My Wife and I just attended the Cruz'n The Rim Car Show. 6/1/2024. She was a vendor selling candles for Mia Bella Candles. Last night, we spent the night at KC Motel. This establishment was spot on! Just off Dueces of Clubs in Show Low. Well maintained. (New exterior paint and roofing material applied) Clean Rooms. Coin operated laundry equipment available. Vending machines for snacks and sodas. Ice machine. On the main street coming into Show Low, but tucked in where road noise was never an issue. I recommend Room 134 if available. Far back corner. Proprietor was super courteous and very helpful with knowledge of surrounding areas for Car Show location and good restaurants for lunch/dinner. (I am a native Phoenix. Arizonan. I do not give these reviews very often)"
